Profile

Will Burns was born in Cordoba, Argentina in 1983 of Scottish, Argentinean parents and moved to England at the age of 8.

He learnt to play Real Tennis at the Burroughs Club as a scholarship student while studying for a Fine Arts Degree at Middlesex University. Will assisted Rod McNaughtan at the Burroughs Club for a year, before moving to Hatfield this year as Assistant to Jon Dawes.

Will currently plays to handicap off 17. He is keen to lower this and has the potential to do so, having won 2 National tournaments in his first year playing. He also recently reached the Final of the Browning Cup in his first professional tournament.

Will is a competent, enthusiastic coach, particularly good with newcomers to the game.
