Profile

Coming from a lawn tennis background Kieran started his real tennis in Hobart in 1999. While studying at the University of Tasmania he received half and full blues for real tennis and also held a sports scholarship. He has won the Australian Junior Championship 3 times, captained the Australian Bathurst Cup team and Australian U26 team twice, won the British Open U24 doubles twice and was runner up in the singles. For the last year and a half Kieran has been working in London as an engineer while playing tennis at the Burroughs club. During this time his tennis has improved a great deal thanks to the opportunity to play competitive matches on a regular basis. The Moreton Morrell Centenary Championships was Kieran's last tournament before heading back to Australia to live. He is fast around the court, energetic, hard-hitting, and will volley anything in sight. Having succeeded at junior level Kieran is now looking to make his mark at the top level.
