Profile

Charlotte is the current ladies World Champion

Charlotte began her career as a professional at Bristol and Bath Tennis Club. She left the club to take a job outside of tennis which would sustain the cost of day to day living. Charlotte works for Catalyst and is a National Acccoun Director. Catalyst are supporting Charlotte for the 2007/08 tennis season.

Charlotte’s tennis continued to thrive and she first won the World Championship title in 2001 defeating Penny Lumley at Princes Court, Washington. In 2003 she was defeated by Penny Lumley in Melbourne, but regained the World Championship title in 2005 at Moreton Morrell.

Charlotte has now instigated the Women’s Academy where she gives her time to coach female players, of all levels. Charlotte is also approaching schools located close to courts to encourage the students to learn real tennis as well as other sports provided by the schools.
