David went onto the cricket staff at Lord’s straight from school in Twickenham (the same one Peter Dawes went to) in 1957 and then went into the Real Tennis court in 1958 under Henry Johns. He became Head Professional in 1975 and retired in 2002.
He won the British Open Doubles in 1976 with Frank Willis
