Tennis professional Jimmy Burke has been running the program at the Boston Tennis & Racquet Club for the last 15 years and has played and taught the game for 31 years. Born and raised in Philadelphia, he started playing Court Tennis at the age of 13 as an employee of the Philadelphia Racquet Club and became the number 2 player in the world at the age of 18 when he was eligible to challange for the World Title. Since then Jimmy spent several years teaching at the Racquet & Tennis Club in New York. He has won many tournaments here in the United States, and is the most seasoned teaching professional.
