James grew up playing squash in Bermuda, where he represented his country at the Commonwealth Games in 2006.
James learned to play rackets at Cheltenham College in England, where he won the Foster Cup 2 years running as well as the First Pair Doubles
In 2006, James joined on at the New York Racquet & Tennis Club under Mike Gooding and Andrew Fowler, where he started playing Real Tennis. One year on and he's absolutely loving it!
