Tommy started his tennis career at the Racquet Club of Philadelphia in 1958. He spent ten years there with Jimmy Dunn.
In 1968 he moved to the Tuxedo Club and have been there ever since.
Tommy has also worked for 8 seasons part time at the Racquet and Tennis Club of New York.
Tommy won the Pro Handicap Singles 4 Times.
Tommy won the inaurgural US Pro singles in 1973. He has also won 4 US Pro Am tournaments.
