THIRD PROFESSIONAL REQUIRED AT C.U.R.T.C.

Published on: Feb 1, 2024

A rare opportunity for a full time Real Tennis Professional to join the established team of Head Professional, Kees Ludekens, and Assistant Pro, Peter Paterson, to support the running of our vibrant two-court club located in the centre of Cambridge.

The role could be shaped in different ways, so we would like to hear from any talented person (who may already be working as a professional or wishes to become one) who is enthusiastic about working in Cambridge.

You might be …

  • A current club professional looking for an opportunity to develop your career in a new environment,

Or …

  • An aspiring professional with the potential to develop a career in the sport.

The club is situated in a historic listed court building in the centre of the university city of Cambridge. It is one of the few clubs in the world to have two courts. It is open to students and staff of the university and to the general public in Cambridge and the surrounding area. The club’s membership is drawn from a wide age range and has players at all levels of experience and ability in the sport.

We are expecting someone who is ambitious personally and for the sport and who will relish the challenge of growing the sport in the University, the city and its surrounding area.

In combination with your fellow professionals, you will be the face of the club and will be responsible for the members’ overall experience. You’ll become part of the club and join the warm family that is the Real Tennis Club.

A competitive salary commensurate with your experience is available to the successful candidate and there will also be opportunities for self-employed income.
