World Challenge – 3rd Day

Published on: Sep 21, 2023

Camden came out of the blocks pretty fast on this last day.  He wanted the Challenge “done and dusted” and to win those two sets straight up to retain his title.

Both sets were close, the first going 6/5 to Camden.  Both players had numerous set points.  The second and last set of the day has an easier looking score line of 6/3 – there was nothing easy about it.

A revelatory challenge, the first for many years without Rob Fahey but there was no void – John Lumley has raised his game and he gave Camden a run for his money.

Brilliant, as always streaming from Ryan Carey and you can see the three days of play on the USCTA’s YouTube platform

Links to James Zug’s reports on this challenge will be here soon – they are great reports.
